Save the Date! Putnam County Schools will host their annual Back to School Blast Friday, August 13th at Putnam Career & Technical Center in Eleanor from 10 am to 1 pm. The B2SB will be a drive through event. Families and students will remain in their vehicles and backpacks will be distributed to them directly. This event is for Putnam County students only. Additionally, please note that students will need to be present to receive their backpacks and supplies. Register now for Putnam County Schools’ Elementary Summer SOLE Program! At the elementary level, SOLE will offer a variety of FREE programs! Registration for both summer sessions is now open and will close on April 23 at 4 pm. Students may attend both sessions and choose multiple programs if schedule and grade band permit. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided! Transportation to and from summer school locations will be provided to central sites for families in need of assistance with transportation. Winfield Elementary School’s 2021-22 preschool and kindergarten registrations are coming up at the end of March. Please call the school office at 304.586.2565 to schedule an appointment on the registration days and to get your registration packets. PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION: Winfield Elementary School’s Preschool Registration will be Friday, March 26th. If you have not already done so, please go to PCS website "Free Putnam PK Program" to complete the on-line placement form. Good Morning WES family, I hope you are all safe and dry. As today is a remote learning day, remote instruction at WES begins at 10:30. Please log into your child's Schoology account for the schedule/agenda and any further instructions from your child's teacher. WVVS students' schedules will remain the same. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's teacher via Schoology. Free curbside pickup lunches for students will be offered today from 11:00 - 12:30 at the riverside door.
